Weighing more than 22 Kilograms and 134.12 Centimeters tall, Darius the giant bunny is almost equal to a size of a five-year-old kid.
This giant bunny ploughs through four thousand carrots, one hundred twenty cabbages and 730 dog bowls of rabbit combine over the year, cost accounting his owner Annette some £2,500 a year in food.
‘He includes a nice temperament so I can’t be too angry once he's attempting to sneak additional food,’ she says.
‘Luckily he likes to hop around all the time – I had to place a toddler gate on the steps to prevent him mounting there.’
The Continental big rabbit presently holds the Guinness record for the world’s biggest rabbit.
So will Annette have any tips for giant bunny lovers who desires a shot at the title?
‘There isn't any secret to growing the world’s biggest rabbit,’ she claims.
‘I simply take care of Darius as if he was a dog. I treat him very well and indulge him within the odd carrot or twelve.’
