What I’m going to tell you is one of the most extraordinary
wildlife collaborations that have come across in my life. Thanks to the amazing
photographs, this story is so unique, because of the touching behavior of the
animals involved.
Evan Schiller and Lisa Holzwarth,
the photographers came across a big troop of baboons charging through the bush when they were on a game drive in the northern Botswana’s Selinda.
the photographers came across a big troop of baboons charging through the bush when they were on a game drive in the northern Botswana’s Selinda.
According to Lisa, 30-40 baboons were heading in their direction
making a lot of noise. The baboons were clearly terrified by something and they
all ran up trees, screaming and making a big scene. It quickly became clear to them
what the problem was, two huge lionesses came out of the grass and rushed the
baboons into the trees, and then two more lionesses joined.
One baboon sloped the dead tree and tried to make a run for
it… but caught by the lioness.
That’s all I’m telling Look at the photos and find out what
really happened.
