"Cassius" a saltwater crocodile kept in the crocodile park of MarineLand Melanesia in Queensland, Australia confirmed as the biggest croc alive and in captivity today. It was Measured 17 feet 11.75 inches (5.48 m) long. Since the previous record holder Lolong died on February 10th 2013.
Lolong was the largest crocodile in captivity. He was an Indo-Pacific or Saltwater crocodile (Crocodylus porosus) measured at 20 feet 3 inches (6.17 m), making him one of the largest crocodiles ever measured from snout-to-tail.

Caught alive after a three-week hunt, an allegedly 21-foot-long (6.4-meter-long) saltwater crocodile—the biggest crocodile ever caught in the Philippines—is restrained on September 4, according to the Associated Press.
The 2,369-pound (1,075-kilogram) crocodile is suspected of attacking several people and killing two. The animal, named Lolong, survived capture and is being held in a temporary enclosure in the village of Consuelo, near Bunawan township (map).
